Top Attractions in Mataram

Constructed by Prince Anak Agung in early 18th century, Pura Meru is the largest temple in the region. Dedicated to the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, the temple created in efforts to unite Lambook. Inside the inner court there are 33 shrines.

Built during the Balinese kingdom's rule in 1744, the Mayura Water Palace is the most famous landmark in Matatram. Inside the palace you will find a huge artificial lake with an imitation of a bale kambang in its middle. The water palace is also excellent for fishing.
