Marco Island, Florida  5
We really enjoyed Marco Island. They have beautiful beaches and the weather was perfect. We also visited Naples which is about 40 minutes from Marco. We found some good restaurants in Marco but there are plenty of excellent restaurants in Naples. There's also plenty of shopping between Fort Myers Airport and Marco, e.g. the Miromar Outlets.
