Feb 22, 2012 Cancun was very good to us. We had beautiful warm weather, between 80 and 85 degrees. Lots of sun . Just 2 rain afternoons. Very relaxing. No troubles of any kind. Go again in a heart beat. We stayed at Gran Caribe Real and Gran Porto Real in Playa del Carrmen. Service was exelent at both places.... Cancun was very good to us. Feb 21, 2012 Cancun is truly paradise. The friendly and amenable staff only add to the beauty of the location. My only complaint is that I was given a room without a working phone.It took two day to get any response from the concierge, the third day they offered to change our room on the following day (day 4). They stated, "we are having problems with the phones on your side of the hotel". Really?? Could it have been the night time construction going on next to us? We chose not to move since we were leaving early the next morning. They graciously allowed me to call from the lobby to schedule 0ur return pick up. This issue was entirely the hotel's fault and they were well aware of the problems before we arrived..... Cancun is truly paradise.
