I was very happy and comfortable on my trip to San Jose. The return trip was a bit long but, it was not a bad trip.

Very nice country with something for everyone, theatre, nice parks and rainforests.
My tips navigating the city are:
- try to find a hotel with a shuttle from the airport when you arrive, because the airport is not inside San Jose
- when in San Jose, plan your itinerary to include the pedestrian walkways in the city which are Avenida Central, Avenida 4 and Calle 2. They run through the entire city and it makes the sightseeing a lot safer and pleasant.
- don't worry about any tummy troubles, because Costa Rican food is pretty easy to stomach, and if you do become homesick they have McD's KFC Burger King even Taco Bell across the city anyway
