Luang Prabang is a very relaxed place. There are lots of things to do to keep busy...kayaking tours, biking, cooking classes, Tad Sae waterfalls and Kuang Si waterfalls (both nice to see). The people are super friendly. Lots of places to shop (the night market is one of the best I've been to). We stayed at the Villa Merry Laos III and were completely satisfied.

In January 2012, I flew in to Luang Prabang, Laos from Chiangmai, Thailand. Booking the flight was a breeze on One Travel. I have been using them a lot for all my Southeast Asia Travels. Best prices so far. I am in peek travel time for tourists and traveling Southeast Asia. I will be traveling next time in the off season. Luang Prabang is a busy little city with a countless number of things do do and enjoy. For those that choose to relax, there is is plenty of that there. Prices go up on lodging along with the number of travelers so I suggest that you book ahead for the many guesthouses there can fill quickly. Guesthouses range from luxurious to Sparten so I suggest you plan ahead and book what you want when you want.
