Traveler’s Guide to Cancun International Airport
The Cancun International Airport (CUN) handles the second largest passenger traffic in Mexico and is the point of entry to the Mundo Maya. The airport is located in Cancún, Quintana Roo, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. The airport is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste and has three terminals.
Cancun International Airport Transfers
Authorized transport companies are only allowed to pick up passengers, public bus service operated by ADO runs between the airport and the downtown bus terminal every 15 minutes.
There is no train service provided by the Cancun Airport.
Cancun International Airport Amenities
The terminal contains currency exchange and ATM facility, the main departure terminal contains independent lockers and lost and found department in the security office.
Internet access is available in the Business Lounges in the international departures areas with most of the taxis having a capacity of 4 passengers.
The airport has a lost and found department which is operated independently by the security staff.
Cancun International Airport Parking
Each terminal has a parking lot in front of it which is under 24 hour security, designated handicapped or special need parking spaces are also made available with easily identifiable markings.
