Founded in 2008, Zambezi Airlines started its operations in July 2008, and ceased operations in 2012. It was a privately owned airline, headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia. The airline had its hub at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. With a fleet size of one aircraft, it operated flights to nine destinations including flights to south and western Africa. On 1 November, 2011, the license of Zambezi Airlines was suspended due to safety issues; hence airlines ended its operations in 2012.
