Air Arabia offers two ways of checking-in: web check-in and check-in desks. Passengers are advised to check-in early so that they don't face any problems with the security and baggage check procedures. Web Check-In: With Air Arabia, you can check-in from the comfort of your home or office, all you require is an internet connection and a laptop/PC. So no need to stand in long queues at the airport, perform web check-in with the touch of a button. This facility is only available for those traveling from Sharjah International Airport. Web Check-in time ranges from 24 hours up to an hour before the flight's scheduled departure time.
Check-In Desks: Passengers can also use the airline's check-in counters present at the airport. Make sure you check-in at least 3 hours before the flight's departure time to ensure a hassle free baggage check procedure. After verifying your identification documents, the airline representative would hand you the boarding pass.

•Hand: Passengers are allowed to carry a hand bag for free provided it doesn't weigh more than 22 lbs. Passengers can also carry an additional item with the hand bag which can be anything from a laptop bag to a purse.
•Checked: Passengers can purchase baggage up to 45lbs at the airport for discounted rates. Baggage that weighs more than 45lbs is considered excess baggage and requires you to pay extra.
•Excess: If you are carrying baggage that weighs more than 20kgs, then you'll be charged a specific overweight fee for every additional kilo.
Itinerary Modifications and Cancellations
If you want to rebook your flight, then you have to inform the airline at least 24 hours before the flight's scheduled departure. You would have to pay a small change fee along with the fare difference. If for any reason you cancel your flight, then again a small fee would be charged for it and the rest of the amount would be credited into your account, which can be used for your future flights with Air Arabia.
•Infants under two years can travel for AED120 provided they are carried on an adult's lap. For infants above two years, you are required to book a seat.
•Women who have completed 28 weeks of pregnancy would require a health certificate from a doctor before they can travel. While those people who require special assistance need to inform the airline's customer care in advance.
•If your baggage gets lost, then Air Arabia would pay you $20 for every kg. To get the compensation amount, you have to apply with a baggage claim application.
